Discover STM Publishing Ltd is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. The following procedures apply to all journals published on our platform.
If an error is identified in a published article that does not affect the conclusions or scientific integrity of the work, a correction notice (erratum) will be published online and linked to the original article. Authors or readers who identify such errors should notify the relevant journal editor, who will assess the correction and arrange publication promptly, normally within 30 days of confirmation.
Where there are well-founded concerns about the integrity of a published article — but where an investigation has not yet been concluded or evidence is inconclusive — the editor may issue an Expression of Concern. This notice is linked to the article and will be updated or replaced once the investigation is complete.
An article will be retracted if it is found to contain serious errors, fabricated or falsified data, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other ethical violations that render its findings unreliable. Retraction notices will clearly explain the reason for retraction, will be linked permanently to the original article, and will remain in the published record. The original article will be clearly marked as retracted. Editors follow the COPE Retraction Guidelines when reaching retraction decisions.
Allegations of research misconduct should be submitted in writing to the relevant journal editor, who will investigate in accordance with COPE guidelines. Depending on the outcome, the publisher may notify authors' institutions. Allegations of misconduct by editors or publisher staff should be directed to the publisher.
To report errors or raise concerns about a published article, please contact the relevant journal editor directly. For publisher-level concerns, please contact us via our website at https://discoverpublish.com/contact.
